Homework
•Math:
     One or two pages of math homework will be assigned most nights, except Friday nights.  (If  a student forgets their homework, they are encouraged to call a classmate to try and get a copy of the work to be done, or click on link in the middle column to print a Home Links page from Everyday Math.)    

•Reading:   
Read 30 minutes per day, five days a week minimum.  Record reading minutes in log provided by Ms. Furtado and available in all classrooms. 

Reading logs will be collected every Wednesday for review.

Daily  Reading Log

Thirty minutes of reading, five nights a week, is an expectation of all 5th grade Sippican students.   This totals 150 minutes per week, but of course, 30 minutes is only a minimum.
